The Rock or Dwayne Johnson has proved everyone that failures are the stepping stones to success. The WWE Superstar had great setbacks in professional football as well as the wrestling industry. But he never gave up and is currently one of the highest paid celebrities in the world.
The Rock has surpassed everyone’s expectations by making his Hollywood debut. No one thought that he would ever join the film industry including the WWE Hall Of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. Steve Austin recently acknowledged the growth that The Rock has had in the entertainment industry.
Steve Austin spoke to Bill Apter recently where he spoke about The Rock and his career in Hollywood. He confessed that no one had an idea that Rock would join Hollywood. But Rock knew where he had to go. He had the plan clear in his mind.

The Rock has a great Hollywood career
The possible reason for him to join Hollywood, according to Steve Austin, was seeing the “the light at the end of the tunnel.” Steve Austin regarded him as a 3rd gen wrestler who had better opportunities and sources to find what is good of them. Moreover, Dwayne Johnson might have had a passion for the industry.
The Rock has always stood strong when it comes to showing individuality. Austin feels that Dwayne must have agreed with whatever the team of directors and producers asked him and once he was established, he took charge and did the work his own way.
“The thing I like about The Rock is, he goes, hey man. I’m not gonna just try to mold myself down, I’m just gonna be me, and that’s what he’s done. He’s taken over Hollywood by himself,” said ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.
Other people in the Hollywood industry are doing great but Dwayne Johnson is just exceptional. Steve saw in Dwayne, the capability and desire to succeed in the industry. He has been able to reach the pinnacle of success by working hard and determination. This is the reason that he is one of the most successful actors in the world.
Many other WWE Superstars have tried their hand at Hollywood but no one reached at the level where the Rock is at. The current superstars such as Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan are also signing with the biggest entertainment industry and will soon make their debut.
