Brock Lesnar in WWE

Brock Lesnar is one of the most talented athletes of all time and a prominent figure of WWE. Lesnar’s last outing in WWE was at the SummerSlam on July 30th, where he was defeated by the tribal chief Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing match. Brock donned a country boy look at the event and entered the arena with a tractor. We might not expect Brock Lesnar to see in the company for the rest of the year, but he has been advertised on the poster of Day 1, which is scheduled to happen on January 1st at the State Farm Arena, Atlanta, Georgia.

In November 2017, the then Universal Champion Brock Lesnar representing the RAW Brand and the then WWE Champion AJ Styles were scheduled to face each other at the Survivor Series Live event. At the event, AJ put Brock in the “Calf Crusher” position, but the latter quickly broke the hold by slamming Styles’ head onto the mat. When AJ delivered a Pele Kick and a “Phenomenal Forearm” on Brock Lesnar, he attempted for a pinfall but Lesnar kicked out at two. Brock stopped Styles in midair as Styles tried another “Phenomenal Forearm” and delivered an “F-5” on AJ Styles to win the bout and tie the score of SmackDown and RAW wins at 3-3.

Recently, during a chat with Alex McCarthy of Inside the Ropes, AJ Styles opened up on his bout with Brock Lesnar at the Survivor Series. He remarked that it was a fantastic bout and that he and Brock Lesnar had already chosen how they wanted it to go. According to Styles, Brock Lesnar warned him not to jump when he hit him with a German suplex or he would toss him out of the ring. Styles said that Brock Lesnar treated him with a lot of respect during the contest and that it was one of his best bouts to date.

“It was great! We kinda discussed how we wanted the beginning to go, and I threw in my two cents and he told me not to jump when he gives me a German [Suplex] or he would throw me out of the ring! I said ‘okay.’ I think Brock showed me a lot of respect in the match that we had. It was great, I thought it was one of the better matches that I’ve had and I was very happy with it.”

Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles have now acquired a status of legends and both will surely be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the future.
