Former NXT Superstar Grayson Waller continues to be one of the most interesting acts on SmackDown. WWE is also happy with his performance, as the Aussie has already had segments with John Cena, Edge, and AJ Styles. In recent episodes, Waller has now focused his attention on Dwayne Johnson and taken multiple shots at him online.
In his latest Tweet, the 33-year-old wrote, “The Cavinder Twins are easily the most talented superstars to come from the University of Miami.” He clearly implied that the new signings for WWE are better than Dwayne Johnson, who is also a Miami University graduate. This came after the Cavinder Twins appeared in the audience on the latest episode of SmackDown.
The Rock and Grayson Waller also exchanged heated words on Twitter recently as Waller invited Johnson to his show “The Grayson Waller Effect.” Fans have been wondering if the teases mean something and if The People’s Champ might return to WWE after years of hiatus.
Due to the ongoing Writers’ Strike, it was also reported that WWE Superstars like John Cena and The Rock have been freed of their hectic movie schedules. Therefore, Rock’s WWE appearance has suddenly become a possibility. It was rumored multiple times in recent years that The Rock might return, but it was never confirmed by WWE or Johnson himself.

Dwayne Johnson and Vince McMahon had a tense reunion backstage at WrestleMania 21
Dwayne Johnson and Vince McMahon share a long history, as The Rock was one of the biggest stars in McMahon’s company during its most successful period. However, the two haven’t always had a great friendship. They have had their fair share of disagreements since Johnson left WWE to move to Hollywood.
Tommy Dreamer, who used to work in Talent Relations at WWE around 2005, revealed an encounter between the People’s Champion and the chairman of WWE. Dreamer said that Johnson was angry with WWE as they reserved the rights to his name, “The Rock,” when he moved to Hollywood. For his movies, Johnson had to use his real name, Dwayne Johnson.
Dreamer also revealed that The Rock came to the WrestleMania 21 party, which took place in Los Angeles. Due to the high tempers, there was a dramatic amount of security for both men, and the talk had a lot of importance. This was because this was the first time the two were going to meet each other in a long time.
