Edge has had an illustrious career during his time in the WWE. Following a Hall of Fame career, the Rated “R” Superstar had to unfortunately retire from in-ring competition in 2011 due to a neck injury. However, fate had other plans, as he made his triumphant return at the Royal Rumble in 2020. Ever since his comeback, Edge has had an incredible second run in his WWE career. He had memorable feuds with the likes of Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins as well.

Currently, Edge is involved in a long-term feud with The Judgment Day. However, fans believe his rivalry against the faction and Finn Balor could be the last high-profile feud in Edge’s WWE career. Reports suggest that the time is near when the Rated “R” Superstar will finally hang up his boots. Last year, Edge admitted that he wants to retire after his last match in his hometown during the summer of 2023.

Adding fuel to the fire, WWE recently announced the August 18th, 2023 edition of SmackDown would take place in Toronto, Canada. Toronto is Edge’s hometown and is set to host a SmackDown episode in the midst of summer this year. Considering the statement by Edge last year, the 18th of August could be the last time he steps inside the squared circle.

While the report seems believable, the Hall of Famer could still change his mind and stay for a little longer. However, one thing is for sure: it would be a hell of an emotional goodbye for the fans. Nonetheless, fans should stay tuned for the official confirmation of the reports.

With some captivating feuds and great matches, Edge is having a great second run in his WWE career. His feud with The Judgment Day started in July last year, when he was kicked out of his own group. Ever since then, Edge has been hellbent on destroying the faction that he himself created.

After helplessly saying I quit” to Finn Balor last year, the Rated “R” Superstar made another big return at the Royal Rumble this year to take out The Judgment Day members. Later, Edge, along with his wife, defeated Balor and Rhea Ripley. In a mixed tag team match at the Elimination Chamber.

However, the story didn’t end there, as Balor reignited the rivalry and challenged Edge for a WrestleMania match. After WrestleMania 39, Edge will most likely be done with The Judgment Day. Following that, the WWE Hall of Famer will potentially have the last feud of his legendary career.
