The closing stretch of this week’s Raw before WrestleMania XL once again saw The Bloodline getting the better of Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. In the main event, The Visionary thwarted a scare as he saw off a spirited Solo Sikoa, which, by the way, was contested under the “Bloodline Rules” stipulation. However, after Rollins stomped The Enforcer’s face into the canvas, Jimmy Uso barged in to take down the former.

To annul his twin brother, Jey Uso was out. They kept exchanging blows until The Rock showed up and took Jey out. He then proceeded to the ring, with blood in mind, against an already languid World Heavyweight Champion. Rollins, despite being grounded, smirked at Rock’s face as Cody Rhodes came out to a deafening ovation in Brooklyn. The American Nightmare went straight after The Final Boss, as the former got a measure of his lick back.

However, just when Rhodes was about to deliver a Rock Bottom to The Great One himself, Roman Reigns stripped Rhodes’ feet off the commentary desk. And it all went south for the babyfaces thereafter. Back in the ring, the Black Adam star took out his weight belt. He rattled both Seth Rollins and his partner’s backs until they turned red. The Tribal Chief also joined the party as the Samoan stalwarts kept humbling their WrestleMania opponents.

After last week’s despicable bloodbath of The Prodigal Son by Dwayne Johnson, there was hope that the 38-year-old would come back with a bang. However, being outnumbered by The Bloodline is not anyone’s preferred territory. Of course, these beatdowns will engender rancorous sentiments within the Rhodes family, just like it happened last Monday.

What did The Rock and Roman Reigns say after Raw?

If what they did out there wasn’t enough, The Bloodline, while heading back to the gorilla position, was nothing but ticked off. Though Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa passed through with just a glare, The Rock casually dropped an F-bomb, saying, “f**k em.”

These men, who seemingly value family above everything, have been on a menacing run of late. With WrestleMania almost here, the time for talking is over. Or maybe not, as the cousins are slated to appear on this Wednesday’s The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

Considering how gravely Rhodes and Rollins were beat up on Raw, there’s a chance they might bump into Rock and Reigns during their scheduled appearance for the Fallon-hosted program. That could possibly be the only real chance for the good guys to get one up on their counterparts before WrestleMania.
