The Rock is a man of double-standards. This outcry is at the epicenter of conversation at the moment. It stemmed from a report by SEScoops that iterated how The Great One’s WWE colleagues were upset over the former getting leeway to hurl profanity during his promos. On the other hand, they couldn’t.

Yesterday, a report from Dave Meltzer suggested that the internal notion calls for The People’s Champ to lead by example and abide by TKO’s ethical modus operandi, and that’s TV-PG. In a major development, the 51-year-old Hollywood actor has hit back at the dubious claims. Rock, while responding to a post by Wrestlelamia on X, affirmed that the said story is “complete horsesh*t.”

Previously, the Black Adam star had brazenly asserted that standards and practices don’t faze him. He would rather stay real than not. Shortly after that, it was divulged how the FOX network was coordinating with WWE to combat Dwayne Johnson’s profanity-laden promos. The network, on which SmackDown airs, reportedly gets the script for Rock’s promo ahead of time.

That’s how they know when and where to bleep. Such instances have happened in previous weeks. The People’s Champ made his last TV appearance this past week on SmackDown. He’s slated for his next one in a couple of weeks on Raw.

The show, dated April 1, would be the go-home taping of the red brand for WrestleMania 40. Alongside the self-proclaimed Final Boss, his cousin, Roman Reigns, is also being advertised to show up. It might be the last time the Samoan stalwarts meet Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins face-to-face before their tag team showdown on WrestleMania Saturday.

Cody Rhodes questioned The Rock’s allegiance to Roman Reigns on SmackDown

Both Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes were in the same ring on SmackDown last night. Obliged by their words, neither showed up with backup, it seemed. As they began verbally jousting with each other, the tension was palpable.

Reigns didn’t feel droopy while stating that Rhodes would forever be the greatest number two in this industry. Cody claimed he’s the one to put an end to the monopoly, which has been going on since late 2020.

First, The Tribal Chief tried to instill seeds of cynicism in Rhodes while underscoring that Seth Rollins hasn’t always been a staunch. To corroborate his statement, Reigns cited the Shield’s example. The Prodigal Son then asked the champ whether he could blindly trust The Rock.

As a fact, he’s been going by the sobriquet of The Final Boss. The show came to a close with Roman’s Bloodline and Cody’s men-at-work, Seth Rollins and Jey Uso, staring down at each other.
