38-year-old Superstar shares emotional message after qualifying for his first WrestleMania match after nine years with WWE

WWE superstar Tommaso Ciampa couldn’t contain his emotions after he punched his ticket to WrestleMania. He made his debut at NXT in 2015 and recently completed nine years at the company. Following his success in WWE, he didn’t forget to thank all those who helped him reach where he is today. 

The Blackheart took to X and sent an emotional message after he and his partner in crime, Johnny Gargano, qualified for the six-pack ladder match at WrestleMania. He showed his love and appreciation to his fans, his opponents, his family, and finally, to himself.

#DIY was one of the teams that were fighting in the qualifying matches for the opportunity to fight for the tag team titles. They defeated another talented team, The Creed Brothers, in a fantastic match, where Ciampa scored a pinfall to secure the win. They joined The New Day, Judgment Day, and Awesome Truth in the six-pack ladder match, with two teams yet to join.

Tommaso Ciampa and Gargano started their main roster journey on different paths, but they didn’t find much success. However, when they returned as the old buddies and reformed #DIY, the old flair they had in NXT started to show up. The duo has a chance to become the world tag team champions for the first time in their careers. It will be interesting to see which one of the six teams emerges as champions. 

Tommaso Ciampa and Becky Lynch engaged in a hilarious argument backstage after Raw

After winning the tag team match against The Creed Brothers, Tommaso and Johnny Gargano gave an interview backstage. However, the interview soon turned into chaos as Ciampa and The Man Becky Lynch got into a funny argument.

Backstage interviewer, Cathy Kelley interviewed #DIY where they explained why this win meant so much to them. The duo expressed their emotions as they were going to wrestle in their first WrestleMania match ever. The Blackheart even stated the importance of Philadelphia in his career, as he wrestled a lot there in the Indies.

[Ciampa] whoa get outta here. You are not taking Rocky from me.
[Becky] you wanna fight?? I already have one WrestleMania match, I'll have two.

As the 38-year-old showed his love for Rocky Balboa, Lynch soon spawned out of nowhere and started telling him that she was ‘Becky Balboa’. Whereas Ciampa said she couldn’t take Rocky away from him. WrestleMania 40 will be important for both of them, as The Man will fight Rhea Ripley for the title, and #DIY will look to win the tag titles in a six-pack ladder match.
