The humongous addition of Dwayne Johnson to TKO Group was the biggest news in the wrestling world for the day. Dwayne would globally represent the sports behemoth and make TKO Group Holdings a bigger name. Alongside his former boss, Vince McMahon, he would be a part of the Board of Directors with 12 others. Triple H, the COO of WWE, thus broke silence and welcomed The Rock to the business.

Taking on X, HHH posted that January 23, 2024’s Tuesday morning had been incredibly exciting so far. He did not mention it here, but the news of Raw on Netflix was the other ground-breaking announcement. The Game added that TKO would continue to grow bigger and better with each passing day. Hunter ended by welcoming Rocky to the team, all this in reply to TKO Group‘s official X handle.

Along with Johnson, Brad Keywall was also added to the Board of Directors, increasing the capacity from 11 to 13. Dwayne has a wrestling background as well as massive business experience. His expansive portfolio includes the launch of Seven Bucks Production, Teremana Tequila, and the recent merger of XFL and USFL, forming UFL. Apart from this, Dwayne brings the largest viewership to the overall product.

"An incredibly exciting day for our business. TKO Group continues to grow bigger and better every day. Welcome to the team, The Rock."

The rumors state his possibilities of facing The Tribal Chief at Elimination Chamber Perth 2024 or WrestleMania 40. It will be exciting to see what changes occur in WWE when the TKO executive hits the rings.

But Rocky ticks that mark, and in addition, brings his tremendous business knowledge to the mix.
