Ever since assuming the creative undertakings for the main-roster, Triple H has invested in the future. He’s clearly under the vision of creating superstars for the decades to come. One such name the WWE CCO revitalized under his regime is Austin Theory. At first, when he failed his Money in the Bank cash-in, fans on social media turned outrageous. Their basic math said that they’ve simply buried Vince McMahon’s project.

However, looking at the current scenario, everyone assuming such back then was just wrong. Hunter took that briefcase off Theory to give him a new direction. As a result, he captured the United States Championship at Survivor Series last year. Since then, The Now has been growing endlessly. Most recently at the Elimination Chamber, The Way’s former member retained his gold in a hellacious battle inside that sadistic structure.

On the episode of Raw following that, the 25-year-old wrapped up a massive victory over Edge. And now he’s remotely ‘locked-in’ for an ultimate showdown against John Cena at WrestleMania 39. Before entering the battlegrounds, there’s been a significant update on the internal stance over Austin Theory. According to WrestlingNews.co, they’ve been told by their sources that the Franchise Player himself views Theory as the next breakout star for WWE. For what it’s worth, the Peacemaker star is apparently coming back to assist The Now in every possible way.

As far as the WWE management is concerned, they’re allegedly ‘very happy’ about whatever Theory’s done in the past few months. He’s more cocky and arrogant than ever which only adds to his heavily altered on-screen presentation. Seemingly, the Forever Champ is most excited to welcome John Cena when the Cenation Leader makes his WWE return on March 6 in Boston. It appears like both men will have a segment during the show to eventually set-up their match for Showcase of the Immortals.

As known, Theory has always been compared to a young John Cena. For a fact, Vince McMahon envisioned the same for his protege. There’s nothing that Austin Theory doesn’t possess inorder to be company’s future megastar. However, a lot of works still needs to be done. Sustaining for longer spells in this space without picking up frequent injuries is the most challenging part. It’s something John Cena was able to avoid during his prime.

Once The Prototype returns home, he’ll look to squeeze the juice out of Austin Theory. By doing so, a fair evaluation can be made regarding the mental zenith of the reigning US Champion. Back in 2017, when John Cena came face-to-face against Roman Reigns, he completely destroyed then Big Dog verbally. However, Austin Theory would surely want to avoid any such point in his incredibly young career so far.
