One of the absolute legends of WWE, The Undertaker, has opined on Bray Wyatt’s character in recent times. While talking in an interview with Metro UK, The Phenom stated he wants to see Wyatt back with his original character. Undertaker, being a fan of the Eater of Worlds, has also advised WWE to bring him back to the Stamford-based company.
The Undertaker thinks Wyatt can succeed if he goes back to his original gimmick. While speaking with Metro UK, The Dead Man pointed out the things WWE should do with the leader of the Wyatt family. The 58-year-old legend stated that WWE has put themselves in a situation where they cannot book Bray Wyatt into several kinds of matches.
The Undertaker stated Wyatt is an incredible performer but gets overshadowed by his dark personas. The Dead Man believes that if provided with a better opportunity, he can show off his skills through his promos. He could also be involved in major championship scenarios.
The WWE Hall of Famer stated that WWE should back him up with his original character to put him in a better place. The Phenom concluded by saying that he thinks a lot of him and hopes the best for him in the future.
The Undertaker faced off against Wyatt at WrestleMania 31 in a singles match. Bray’s last appearance came on the February 24 episode of SmackDown during his feud with Bobby Lashley. Despite a short build-up, his plans to battle Lashley at WrestleMania 39 were dropped as Wyatt went on a hiatus since then.
The Undertaker was concerned about Mick Foley during their match
The King of the Ring 1998 event saw probably one of the most iconic moments in WWE history. The Undertaker threw Mankind off the 20-foot structured Hell in a Cell onto the announcer’s table. The Phenom stated in an interview with Metro UK that he was genuinely worried about Mick Foley when he hit the table.
The Dead Man said that he remembers standing on the cage and thinking, “Move Mick,” but had to stay in his character. This feeling became intense as Foley took another fall within the ring, and the whole scene became a catastrophe. The Undertaker added that he was concerned that Foley might’ve broken his neck.
Mick Foley suffered the suffering of his life in that match, getting choke slammed on thumbtacks. The Phenom then pinned him for the victory. This match kicked off Mick’s hardcore era and made him well known as The Hardcore Legend for his brutal performances.
