One of the hottest rumours spreading around the weekend of Clash at the Castle was the ultimate return of Bray Wyatt back to WWE and he was supposed to crash the main event match between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre. Regardless of never ending fan theories and speculation, he’s yet to be seen on WWE television.

Wyatt was released from the company last year as part of the budget cuts and this was potentially the most shocking release ever made in the past few years. The reported reason given behind his exemption was his “creative issues” and Bray Wyatt was said not easy to be handled backstage.

But it seems like slowly but steadily his return is inching on a close as per a recent report from Xero News. The report says at the moment it’s the matter of when Wyatt could make his blockbuster return to WWE rather than “will he ever return”. Reports adds that Triple H is really keeping big returns a quiet secret and the information is only made available to some higher ups only.

Additionally, Wyatt’s return won’t be just any random Raw or Smackdown episode as people there at WWE are well-aware about how big of a moment that could possibly be if done correctly. The summary that we can draw from the report is that Bray will be back but we should expect him at a major event possibly like Survivor Series or Royal Rumble next year.

Bray Wyatt’s last WWE match came at Wrestlemania 37

Seeking revenge over Randy Orton for getting burned alive at TLC 2020 event, the Fiend character of Bray Wyatt was destined to dismantle The Viper at Wrestlemania last year but to what was an extremely shocking outcome, Fiend lost the bout courtesy of that devastating RKO from Orton making up an anti-climatic ending.

After the match, a cryptic Alexa Bliss appeared over a giant box with black liquid flowing all over her head and he stood face to face with Bray Wyatt but at a much different altitude. However before anything could happen, the lights went out and both superstars disappeared from the ring leading to a heavy chorus of boos from the fans.
