Heartbreaking update on Tyson Fury’s appearance at WWE Royal Rumble

Tyson Fury
WWE had been planning on making WrestleMania 39 one hell of an event by having some massive names on its card. While superstars such as The Rock and John Cena are almost confirmed for the event, there were budding plans for Tyson Fury to make an appearance on the Grandest Stage Of Them All.
WWE’s 2023 is all set to start with a bang with massive plans set for the Royal Rumble. The fans were at the peak of their excitement when the ‘Gypsy King’ was rumored to appear at the next two WWE Premium Live Events in 2023. However, “those hopes are looking slim and complicated,” as reported by the Sun.
Fury has been under investigation to have links with the alleged Irish mob boss, Daniel Kinahan. Being under the radar, he is denied entry inside the US boundaries. Tyson’s brother broke the news before everyone that the two were still being denied permission to enter the country.
The legal team on Fury’s side is working day and night to resolve the situation he is in. If the legal proceedings drag on for a long time, the “King of the Gypsies” will be unable to compete in the WWE ring at the Royal Rumble. With his massive popularity among the WWE audience, the creative team would think to bring him back to the squared circle at some other Premium Live Event.

Tyson Fury has a massive fan following among the WWE Universe

Tyson Fury is a big name in the world of professional boxing. The WWE management is always looking for collaborative options from other industries, and having Tyson in their arena was a million-dollar deal. Tyson has already appeared in the WWE ring on multiple occasions.
Fury fought Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel in 2019. While Strowman dominated the ring for almost the entire duration, it was Fury who emerged victorious. The match was a huge deal for the company, with some reports claiming Tyson received a whopping 15 million dollars for it.

He also appeared in the WWE ring at Clash At The Castle 2022 to congratulate the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns on his win against Drew McIntyre. Missing out on another WWE event would mean that Tyson, too, would miss out on a massive amount from the company.
