Brock Lesnar delivers F-5 to Bobby Lashley on RAW

Brock Lesnar shocked the WWE Universe when he made a surprise appearance on this past week’s RAW. While doing a promo, Bobby Lashley mentioned Brock Lesnar as one of the notable wrestlers he has defeated in the company, as well as other significant names. Just when Brock Lesnar’s music hit, he proceeded to the ring and greeted Brooklyn and then said “good evening, Bobby Lashley,” after which he delivered an F-5 to Lashley and then applied his submission, The Kimura.

The attack by Lesnar cost Bobby Lashley the United States Championship later that night, as he was not in a state to fight due to the brutal attack. Even though Lashley showed a good fight, Rollins had an advantage and managed to beat Bobby Lashley to win the US championship.

This is Lesnar’s first appearance in the WWE since his defeat at SummerSlam against Roman Reigns. Lesnar lost his first and only Last Man Standing match of his career, whereas Roman Reigns won his fourth and last Last Man Standing match in the WWE.

The rivalry between Brock Lesnar and The Tribal Chief seems to have culminated at the SummerSlam. While we may see a possible match between Roman Reigns and Lesnar in the future, as of now it’s definitely the end of their feud.

During a recent edition of Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru, Jim Cornette spoke about the segment between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar. He said that the segment gave us the answer that Bobby Lashley has no friends in the company as there is no one to help him. Cornette questioned the absence of the WWE officials when Bobby Lashley needed them.

“So yes he was surprised by Brock Lesnar. That attack, he didn’t know it was coming. And besides, the fact that we found out Bobby has no friends, nobody gives a s**t about him, and didn’t come to help him. Then, they go to break and they come back from the break and now the referees are checking on him. About five or six of them. Where were you motherf**kers a minute ago when I needed you, right?”

A match involving Brock Lesnar was unavoidable at the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, and Bobby Lashley had long been rumoured to be his opponent. The match hasn’t been announced yet but will surely be announced in the coming week.
