Vince McMahon stepping back into the WWE management ranks might prove to be one of the biggest shakeups in the company. While there hasn’t been any prominent change that is currently visible after Vince’s return, a lot of changes are expected in due course. Many fans are also concerned about the progress of the existing plans.
The Rock is rumored to appear at WrestleMania, which is all set to take place on the 1st and 2nd of April 2023. As the tagline of the event goes, ‘WrestleMania goes Hollywood,’ the event is sure to witness a massive Hollywood twist in its bookings. However, Dave Meltzer, speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, revealed the possible Vince McMahon effect that the Rock’s appearance may have to face.
Dave’s statements seemed to provide relief to all the fans waiting for the news. He confirmed that Dwayne’s appearance will depend on his availability during the two days. However, being associated with the XFL, he may have a tightly packed schedule. “I don’t know what his answer is. I look at the schedule, he’s got to promote this XFL, I don’t know that him doing WrestleMania promotes the XFL,” Dave said.
Stepping into the WWE ring would require him to train beforehand. If he is sure to make an appearance on the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All,’ his confirmation will be made by the Royal Rumble. With his incredible physique and personality, the Electrifying Man can probably return to the ring in just two months.

Is WWE’s selling affecting WrestleMania plans?
Dave Meltzer clearly shut down the rumors of Vince McMahon’s presence affecting The Rock’s appearance. Apart from Rock, John Cena is the most probable name in everyone’s mouth for a WrestleMania appearance. If the McMahon effect is taking place, then both stars are sure to face similar consequences.
“Vince coming back, is it going to affect John Cena? Is it going to affect The Rock? No, they’re going to do whatever they were going to do before,” confirmed Meltzer. With the top two stars almost confirmed for the event, the fans are quite hopeful of getting a great WrestleMania 2023!
WWE is also amidst selling rumors, especially to the Saudi Arabia Investment Fund. However, they are only rumors, and no confirmation has been made from the company’s end. However, if the recent rumors are to be believed, any kind of buying or selling will take place only after WrestleMania.
