Internationally acclaimed artist Bad Bunny recently appeared at WWE SmackDown to rescue WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio. He paired along with the LWO to save Mysterio from an assault by The Judgment Day.

On the May 5th episode of Friday Night SmackDown which was live from San Juan Puerto Rico, Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega took on Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio from The Judgment Day in the main event.

The 2023 WWE Hall of Famer secured a victory against The Judgment Day along with Vega despite all the distractions caused by Finn Balor throughout the match. Rey Mysterio found himself outnumbered by Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest who started the beat-down as soon as the match ended.

Bad Bunny would then make his way down to the ring with the Latino World Order, to a huge crowd reaction. The LWO then took out Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio while Priest and Bunny got into a stare-down. As soon as Bunny got in the ring to attack Priest, Dominik Mysterio would come to make the save for Priest.

The three-time Grammy Award winner is scheduled to take on Damian Priest in a San Juan street-fight on May 6th at WWE Backlash. This will be Bad Bunny’s third match in WWE after WrestleMania 37 and Royal Rumble 2022.

Bad Bunny will face Damian Priest on Saturday at WWE Backlash, but this is not the first time that they will share a ring. Previously they had teamed up in a match against the The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37. This was the in-ring debut of the artist in a highly acclaimed match.

With the set of moves and skills displayed in the match by him, he showed everyone that he had put in the efforts and time to learn the sport. Bunny’s Canadian Destroyer to Morrison on the floor was a talking point. His in-ring skills and passion for the sport puts him in among the very few artists who occasionally have a match at WWE events.

Outside of WWE, Bad Bunny and Damian Priest have also been good friends as both of them are from Puerto Rico and share the same interests.
