Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, and Rey Mysterio recently competed against The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and The Usos) in a house show. This “Road To WrestleMania Supershow” event was held in Youngstown, Ohio, on March 11th. As expected, the babyface team came out victorious and had something special planned for WWE Legend, Rey Mysterio.

In a fan-shared video, the viewers can watch the Scottish Warrior grab the mic after the match and show his gratitude to the Greatest Luchador of all time. Drew McIntyre recalled how he has known Rey for over 15 years, who keeps getting younger every day. The two-time WWE Champion even asked for the location of the “fountain of youth,” making the Masked Legend smile.

The WWE Universe was emotionally touched by the words as well as they cheered along. Ending his tribute, Drew McIntyre simply thanked Rey Mysterio for being “a friend, a brother, a mentor” and called himself lucky to be in his presence. Moreover, the SmackDown superstar called his cohort’s Hall of Fame induction a “well-deserved” feat.

As announced on the last episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the Master of 619 became the first inductee of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2023. The news pleasantly shocked everyone, as Rey Mysterio still looked like he could go for ten more years. However, the Ultimate Underdog has given more than enough to this industry in his 34-year illustrious career.

The WWE Veteran is also setting up a possible match with his son Dominik Mysterio, which might culminate at WrestleMania 39. Some reports suggested the match could be Mysterio’s last, where he will put his mask on the line. Moreover, recent weeks of TV seem to be in line with that story. The fans have seen Dominik constantly disrespect his father’s legacy, spitting on and tearing apart his father’s mask. From his Hall of Fame induction to possibly the last match of his career, it would be an emotional weekend for the Biggest Little Man in pro wrestling.
