WWE has finally released its official poster for the ‘2023 WWE Draft’. Around 100 superstars appear on the poster who are available for the Draft. The poster also states that the Draft will take place on the 28th of April episode of SmackDown.

The Draft will also continue on the 2nd May episode of Raw. Generally, the process allows 2 picks for SmackDown against 3 of Raw. The proportion exactly matches the respective run times of the shows each week.

Fans were taken by surprise as they weren’t able to spot some expected entrants. The most prominent of them is the 14-time World Champion, Randy Orton. It has been almost a year since fans last saw The Viper on television. He hasn’t come back since his beatdown by The Bloodline on the 20th May 2022 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Another superstar missing from the poster is Bray Wyatt. Bray was supposed to wrestle The All-Mighty Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39. However, he was suddenly removed from the card. Fans last saw him on the 27th February episode of Raw.

Alexa Bliss is another name not on the poster. Bliss is still suffering from medical conditions. Uncle Howdy also remained absent from the poster, which makes the future of Wyatt, Bliss, and Uncle Howdy quite uncertain regarding what WWE may be planning for them.

Former WWE Champion and New Day Member, Big E also didn’t find a spot on the poster, making it clear that he would also remain out of action for some more time. Big E was last seen in March 2022. He suffered neck and vertebrae issues keeping him out of action since then.

Aliyah, former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, was also absent from the poster. She has been off TV since September 2022. Initially, medical reasons were given for her absence, but later reports surfaced that WWE has no creative plans for her which is keeping her out of action.
