Under the Vince McMahon era, changes in creative plans at the eleventh hour have been an inevitable thing. The former WWE Chairman had a way of tearing up the script just hours before the beginning of the show. However, the WWE programming went through a transition, with Triple H taking creative control. Things have been moving smoothly and effortlessly in Hunter’s era. However, there have been reports that this week’s edition of SmackDown went through a few creative changes just in time.

The February 24 edition of SmackDown this week aired from the Ford Center in Evansville. According to Sean Ross Sapp, there have been a few changes in plans before the show. Initially, Liv Morgan wasn’t scheduled to be a part of the SmackDown programming this week. However, her appearance was orchestrated just a few hours before the show began. The WWE Universe saw Liv Morgan in a backstage interview segment with Megan Morant. Moreover, the segment was just to build up a match between Morgan and Ripley next week.

Another creative plan that WWE chalked out initially was for Tegan Nox to sell an injury angle as a part of the storyline. However, WWE made alterations in the last moment, and this didn’t happen. It is still ambiguous whether the company will carry out this angle for Tegan on an upcoming episode of SmackDown or if it has been curtailed. Therefore, it can be speculated that the company has some different plans in mind for the upcoming shows for those superstars.
