WWE recently terminated its deal with a trading card company called Panini due to an alleged breach of contract. The two sides signed a multi-year deal for trading cards in 2021, which took effect in early 2022. Panini had over two years remaining on the agreement. However, WWE still terminated the contract due to a violation of policies.

According to Darren Rovel on X, WWE has claimed that Panini violated the contract, which led WWE to seek an injunction. Moreover, WWE has seemingly offered the same contract to another merchandising company called Fanatics.
