The WWE Black Prizm card is a special edition trading card produced by Panini America for their WWE trading card series. The Black Prizm cards are a limited edition parallel set featuring black borders and a special prismatic design. These cards are produced every year by Panini America for the WWE in a successful collaboration. Speaking of last year, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s Black Prizm card is said to be the highest-selling.

The 2022 edition of WWE Black Prizm trading cards were sold in great quantity, as per PWCC Marketplace. And out of all the cards, the Black Prizm trading card featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recorded the most sales. According to PWCC, The Rock’s Prizm parallel broke all previous records with the sale of $126,000.

The amount is more than two times the previous record, which was Hulk Hogan’s rookie card. Moreover, the Black Prizm card of The Great One features an image of him performing a Rockbottom on his long-time arch-rival, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Meanwhile, Jesse Craig, the VP of sales at PWCC, also addressed the huge sale. “This is arguably the best WWE trading card in existence, “Cards like this rarely surface for public sale since….. This was the perfect combination to drive that demand”.

These cards are highly sought after by collectors due to their limited availability and unique design. If you are a collector or fan of WWE trading cards, the Panini Black Prizm set is definitely worth checking out. However, keep in mind that due to their limited availability, they may be difficult to obtain and may command a premium price.

Apart from being one of the biggest movie stars in the world, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been one of the most popular professional wrestlers on the planet as well. However, he has not stepped foot inside the squared circle since the year 2016. Moreover, The Great One hasn’t yet announced his retirement either.

In fact, he was rumored to return to the WWE to face his cousin, Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. However, that was not the case, as The Rock couldn’t find time in the midst of his busy schedule. As of now, he is rumored to return next year for a WrestleMania dream match against Roman. Hence, it remains to be seen if and when The Rock returns to WWE.
