“Rhea is going to carry that”- WWE Universe expects Rhea Ripley to carry the Elimination Chamber PLE after major superstars’ forced absence

The Optus Stadium in Perth will be lit next month for WWE’s Elimination Chamber. The 60K capacity of the venue will give that PLE a WrestleMania-level-worthy show. To treat the Australian fans to a massive event, WWE has to make sure of a stellar match card. However, the absence of major superstars on the roster has put the WWE Universe in disbelief, as there is a heavy reliance on Rhea Ripley.

A post on X states the current horrifying scenario at WWE. World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins‘ MCL injury has taken away a few months of his run. He is expected to come back for WrestleMania 40 and even have a match before the Grandest-level bout. Meanwhile, The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, is also not expected to appear at Elimination Chamber 2024 and directly have a main event match at Mania.

This puts Australian megastar, Rhea, at the forefront of carrying the show. With the World Women’s Championship on her shoulder, her title defense in front of her people would be the highlight. Along with the champion, other Aussies like Grayson Waller and Bronson Reed would also be a huge part of the event and might participate in the eponymous stipulation match to deliver their best performances.

The recent news of CM Punk‘s torn right tricep has ruled him out of WWE programming. On the other hand, the Intercontinental Champion, Gunther, is also out of the picture due to the restrictions on his travel with the visa. A few more superstars like Charlotte Flair and Kevin Owens would be excluded due to their injuries. Thus, all focus would be on the steel-structured stipulation match and also The Eradicator.

WWE Universe relies on Rhea Ripley to be the highlight of Elimination Chamber Perth 2024

Elimination Chamber 2024 will emanate from the Optus Stadium in Perth next month. The last PLE before WrestleMania 40 will shape things and officialize some matches. The namesake stipulation matches would most likely have championships being defended with a men’s or a women’s title inside the steel structure.

Apart from that, the superstars who would be a part of the event are limited now. Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Charlotte Flair are out of action due to their injuries. Gunther‘s traveling issue and Roman Reigns’ rumored absence would make the show feel lackluster. To compensate for all of it, World Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, would go in as the major hopeful force and come out successful with her title.

As of now, Ripley is having tensions with Nia Jax. Going forward, a singles bout could be in the books for Chamber, but a multi-person victory would evaluate her as a champion. In her home country of Australia, The Eradicator might carry the whole show and build the hype around her deadly aura.
