Zelina Vega is currently one of the most beloved female stars in WWE. Her recent run in the SmackDown brand has seen her feud with Damage CTRL and other distinct stars. On the recent episode of SmackDown, she paid tribute to former WWE superstars The Hardy Boyz in many instances. During her entrance, Vega performed Hardy’s groovy moves with hand gestures.

Vega paid homage to the Charismatic Enigma as she tried on his entrance step and proceeded to make her way to the ring. As she entered the ring, she went up on a turnbuckle and again did Jeff’s hand gesture that resembled the similarity. A moment later in the match, fans saw her perform Twist of Fate on Bayley and go down for an unsuccessful pinfall attempt.

This week’s SmackDown aired live from North Carolina, the hometown of Jeff Hardy. Therefore, Zelina Vega paid homage to all the fans of Hardy. It was brought to notice by Vega’s fan account on Twitter in the comment section. The LWO member tweeted and expressed gratitude to the fans in North Carolina who showed up.

The fan account compiled the tribute moments and posted the video, adding the caption, “We love a Hardy girl.” The match between Zelina and Bayley was eventually won by The Role Model after she got help from her stablemate, Iyo Sky. After the match, Shotzi appeared on the Titantron screen and shocked the world.

WWE played a video clip where Shotzi was seen shaving her head and stating how weird she is. The former NXT superstar did that in order to intimidate Bayley and Iyo Sky, who cut her hair and humiliated her last week on SmackDown. This came as a complete shock to the WWE Universe.

Zelina Vega recreated Andrade’s spot at Money in the Bank

Money in the Bank 2023 was registered in the history books of WWE as one of the grandest events. One of the major highlights of the show was the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, which saw an epic ending. There were also some incredible moments that kept the audience on their toes.

There came a moment when Zelina Vega and Zoey Stark went up to the top and battled on the ladder. Having similar chances for the win, Vega ensured Zoey failed her moment as she took her down with a Code Red move off the ladder. Both the stars landed on a ladder attached between the ring and an opened ladder.

This moment was a tribute given by Zelina to her former client Andrade during his time in WWE. He was involved in the same spot in the 2019 Money in the Bank ladder match, where he smashed Finn Balor on the ladder. Andrade currently works on AEW under the ring name Andrade El Idolo.
