NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose shares her honest opinion on the colorful brand
NXT Women's Champion
Mandy Rose is an American professional wrestler, who is also a fitness and figure competitor. She has been associated with WWE since 2015, but it seems like Rose is currently in the best phase of his career. Rose was a part of the NXT roster till 2017, before she was pushed to the main roster.
Throughout her run on the main roster, Mandy never really got going. She was restricted to the main roster as a Tag Team Superstar and never really got a chance to win any gold. The most iconic feud of her main roster run was against her friend-turned-foe Sonya Deville. Post this, she was seen in a romantic angle with Otis.
In July 2021, she was moved back to NXT roster. Rose was repackaged and she debuted a new look on the rebranded NXT 2.0. She left her traditional blonde look for a brunette look. Rose even formed her own stable – Toxic Attraction and has even won the NXT Women’s Championship.
Considering how impressive her run has been on NXT 2.0, Rose is feeling really confident with her latest run. Mandy Rose recently appeared for an interview with WWE Deutschland where she discussed her current glorious run on 2.0.
“I’ve always felt comfortable in the ring. There are times where you feel more confident than others … but I do feel a different vibe when I’m in there. Sometimes, when opportunities come your way and you take them and run with them, this was an opportunity… I joke around, but everything I touch turns to gold and it did,” mentioned Rose.
Mandy Rose will next be seen on NXT WarGames
On the upcoming NXT WarGames, the NXT Women’s Champion will not be on the line, but we will still be seeing Mandy Rose in action. Rose, along with her Toxic Attraction teammates, will be teaming up with Dakota Kai. They will be facing Raquel Gonzalez, Io Shirai, Cora Jade and Kay Lee Ray in a WarGames match.
Rose needs to be extra careful as she will be facing several of her probable challengers. Gonzalez, Shirai and Kai are all in line to go after the NXT Women’s Championship. It is a massive opportunity for the entire Toxic Attraction to prove their dominance on the roster.
