In recent times, the WWE commentary team on both the main roster shows have been witnessing a lot of reshuffling. The reshuffling began when Samoa Joe was released from the team. Currently, Pat McAfee and Michael Cole are part of the Smackdown commentary team.

But the Raw commentary team is once again looking unsettled. Adnan Virk, who was commentating alongside Corey Graves and Byron Saxton has now decided to part ways. The night after Wrestlemania 37, Virk was introduced as the newest member on the Raw commentary team.

But the WWE Universe was never a fan of Virk’s commentary and subjected him to numerous jokes and trolling. Recently WWE announced that the company and Virk have mutually decided to part ways. They even thanked Virk for his work during his brief WWE stint.

Minutes after WWE revealed the news of Adnan Virk’s departure, Virk took to Twitter to thank the company for giving him the opportunity and even thanked his fellow commentators – Byron Saxton and Corey Graves. He mentioned that he and his family were struggling to cope up with his packed schedule.

Corey Graves also took to Twitter to appreciate Virk’s efforts and even acknowledged their friendship.

Virk was with WWE for just seven episodes of WWE Raw, and now we may see another new face on the Raw commentary team. WWE usually gets the wrestlers from their roster to fill-in for the commentators at times. But this cannot be a permanent solution.

Reportedly, former UFC and America Ninja Warrior announcer Jimmy Smith will be the newest addition to the Red-brand commentary team. Unlike Virk, Smith has some experience of commentating on WWE NXT.
