Who could be the next challengers for Randy Orton and Riddle?

Orton and Riddle

Randy Orton is one of the most successful professional wrestlers in the entire industry. He is considered to be among the Heels ever in the company. Orton is a third-generation professional wrestler who is popular for him gimmicks such as “The Legend Killer” and “The Viper”. He has won the WWE World Championship record 14 times.

Despite being a Heel for a major part of his career, last year, Orton surprised the fans and turned Face after a really long time. In fact, as a Face, he formed an unlikely team with Riddle. The WWE Universe has accepted this team with open arms and they are inarguably the best part of WWE’s Red brand.

At Summerslam 2020, RK-Bro, as Randy Orton and Riddle are fondly known as, defeated AJ Styles and Omos to become the Raw Tag Team Champions. Since becoming the Champions, they primarily feuded against Styles and Omos. Post this feud, a multi-team tournament – RK-Bronament was conducted to find new challengers for them.

The Street Profits emerged victorious in the RK-Bronament to become the No.1 Contenders for the Raw Tag Team Championship. They faced Orton and Riddle at WWE Day 1 for the title, but failed to dethrone them. But with another team failing to defeat RK-Bro, the question now remains that which team will now emerge to challenge them.

A new Tag Team is forming on Raw. Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens, who were recently battling against each other for the WWE Championship have been performing quite well as a team. In fact, with Brock Lesnar becoming the WWE Champion, it seems like Owens and Rollins could shift their focus from the WWE title to other titles.

It has been significant time since RK-Bro debuted, and they have received immense love from the WWE Universe. But at the same time, this team up has led to the fans missing the Heel Randy Orton. While his R-K-Os are as loved as they were years ago, the heel gimmick is something that is missing.

In fact, if Rollins and Owens are teamed up to challenge for the Raw Tag Team Championship, it is quite likely that they will win the title. This would be the perfect time for WWE to break the team of Orton and Riddle. We could even see a feud between the two of them, before they go on their separate ways.
