Roman Reigns is inarguably the biggest Superstar in WWE today. His career has gone on to a whole new level since he turned Heel. While the former Shield member was already an accomplished performer inside the ring, association with Paul Heyman has taken to his promos to another level as well.
After a brief break from WWE, the Tribal Chief made his return at WWE Summerslam 2021, with a new Heel avatar. In matter of weeks, Reigns managed to win the Universal Championship. One of the first major feuds he had as a Champion was against his cousin Jey Uso – which went on to become one of the best feuds of 2020.
Since then, Roman Reigns has formed his own stable named – The Bloodline, which includes his cousins, The Usos. While Reigns is the Universal Champion, his cousins hold WWE gold too, in form of the Smackdown Tag Team Championship. Being the Head of the Table, Reigns ensures that along with him, his family is also dominating the roster.
A couple of weeks ago, the Universal Champion took a break from WWE, and went on a vacation instead. Coincidentally, The Usos ended up losing a match against The New Day on the same night. This did not go down well with Reigns and he asked The Usos to get The New Day members to acknowledge him.
On the latest episode of Smackdown, Jimmy Uso suffered another loss at the hands of King Woods. But this time, Reigns was present in the arena and he came out after the match and attacked Woods and Kingston. Kingston was speared down by Reigns and WWE recently confirmed that he had suffered an MCL sprain in his knee.
Roman Reigns will face Big E at WWE Survivor Series 2021
The current feud between The Bloodline and The New Day will be leading up to a Champion vs Champion match between Roman Reigns and Big E at Survivor Series. On the upcoming episode of Smackdown, Roman Reigns is scheduled to face King Woods in a singles match.
With Kingston being injured, the odds will be stacked up against Woods. Hence, we could expect WWE Champion Big E to show up to be by his former teammates side. We could even see a brawl between the 2 Champions – perfectly setting up a match for Survivor Series.
