WWE Extreme Rules 2021: What can happen in the match between Roman Reigns and ‘The Demon’?

The Universal Championship will be on the line at Extreme Rules 2021 where Roman Reigns will defend his championship against ‘The Demon King’ Finn Balor. Reigns already has another match with Brock Lensar at Crown Jewel looming around his head. With Finn Balor standing as the challenger, Reigns would be a bit nervous entering the event.
Roman Reigns has already defended the Universal Championship against Finn Balor once. The match saw Balor being attacked by the Usos before the match and still going to extreme limits but Reigns applying the gia-tee and taking him out.
The very next week on Smackdown at the famous Madison Square Garden saw ‘The Demon King’ return after a couple of years and standing face-to-face with Reigns. Though the fans were happy seeing the Demon return, some very outrageous because of the champion’s reign which makes Balor’s undefeated streak in danger.
Who will exit WWE Extreme Rules 2021 as the Universal Champion?
With Roman Reigns having a match confirmed with Brock Lesnar for Crown Jewel 2021, the Universal Champion would make a great impact in it. But with the Demon’s undefeated streak, WWE could be planning to take the Universal Championship away from Reigns and end his long reign.
Though the WWE Universe has started disliking Reigns’ wins, the company has been planning to make the Tribal Chief ready for a mega match with the Rock. So, WWE will likely want Reigns to win and take everyone down for the mega match.
Prediction: Roman Reigns retains the Universal Championship
