Shelton James Benjamin is an American professional wrestler who has worked for several top promotions like NJPW and ROH. Earlier he used to perform under the ringname of Shelton X Benjamin. Being a former United States Champion and an Intercontinental Champion, Benjamin has made great contributions to the industry.
Prior to getting into professional wrestling Shelton Benjamin was a Champion in track and field and collegiate wrestling. His wrestling career kicked off at WWE’s developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling – which has kickstarted the careers of top Superstars like John Cena, Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar (who is an old friend and has been a roommate to Benjamin). Benjamin moved to the main roster in 2002 where he formed the World’s Greatest Tag Team with Charlie Haas.
