WWE Survivor Series 2021: Who could emerge victorious in the Men’s Elimination match?

Smackdown and Raw Men's Teams

WWE Survivor Series 2021 is less than a fortnight away. The Men’s Tag Team Elimination teams from both the brands have finally been announced. This year, we did not get to see any qualifier matches to earn a spot in these teams, instead the teams were directly announced. The 10-man Tag Team elimination matches are often considered to be the cornerstone of the Survivor Series.

The teams from Raw and Smackdown battle against each other for brand supremacy. While these matches have often been criticized for lacking any real stakes, it does give the WWE Universe a chance to see the Superstars from Raw collide against the Superstars from Smackdown, which is not possible in any other WWE event, barring the Royal Rumble.

Men’s Team Smackdown includes:

  • Drew McIntyre
  • Jeff Hardy
  • King Woods
  • Sami Zayn
  • Happy Corbin

Men’s Team Raw includes:

  • Seth Rollins
  • Finn Balor
  • Kevin Owens
  • Rey Mysterio
  • Dominik Mysterio

Out of the two teams, Team Raw seems to be way ahead than their counterparts from the Blue brand. With the exception of Dominik Mysterio, all the Superstars from the Red team have been World Champions, whereas same is not the case with Team Blue. Currently, only Drew McIntyre is the only one in the team who seems to be dominating the roster.

Interestingly, the 4 members of Team Raw, recently collided in a hard-hitting, brutal Fatal 4-Way ladder match. While all of them are main-eventers, the Blue team for Survivor Series 2021 features less of the main-eventers. This might be a clear indication that the Red team might be emerging victorious.

Drew McIntyre or Finn Balor could win the match for their teams at WWE Survivor Series 2021

While there are no real stakes, except the bragging rights, for the Survivor Series matches. But the way match shapes up could have some long-term implications. Hence, the winner of this match could determine that who gets the next Championship shots on their respective brands.

Seth Rollins already has a Contender’s contract with him, hence, if he wins the match for his team it might not do much for him. But WWE is extensively pushing Drew McIntyre currently, based on his recent matches on Smackdown. Whereas Finn Balor is the pick of the lot from the Red brand. Hence, we could see either of them winning the match for their team at WWE Survivor Series 2021 and earning a shot at the title.
