The Viper Randy Orton eyes his 15th WWE World Championship

The Viper Randy Orton eyes his 15th WWE World Championship

Orton is a 14-time WWE World Champion

The Viper Randy Orton currently holds the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship, along with Riddle. He is undoubtedly one of the biggest Superstars in the history of the company. But a Superstar of his caliber isn’t content with just the Tag Team title.

The Legend Killer wants, and rightly deserves, the top-most title in the company – the WWE Championship. Orton is a 14-time WWE World Champion. He will be having an opportunity to add another title to his long list of accolades at WWE Extreme Rules 2021.

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will be defending his title against The Viper Randy Orton. If Orton walks out victorious from the match, it will be his 15th overall WWE World title and the 11th WWE Championship. The other 4 reigns have been as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

If and when, Randy Orton wins the 15th Championship, it will make him the sole Champion with second-most reigns – behind John Cena and Ric Flair’s 16. But even after emerging victorious Orton will have to ensure that his reign isn’t like his last one – which was shorter than a month! Randy Orton’s last reign began and ended because of Drew McIntyre.

The Viper Randy Orton might leave WWE Extreme Rules as a double Champion

Lashley and Orton – both have a chance to become double Champions

Orton is the current one-half of the Raw Tag Team Champions and Lashley is the WWE Champion. Both their storylines are currently intertwined – which means that both the Superstars have an opportunity to become double-Champions.

Lashley and MVP recently won the Tag Team Turmoil match on WWE Raw and earned a shot at the Tag Team Championship. They will be getting their Championship match on the upcoming episode of Raw, giving Lashley an opportunity to enter Extreme Rules as a double Champion.

On the other hand, if Orton manages to retain the Tag Team titles and emerges victorious at Extreme Rules – he will not only become a 15-time WWE World Champion, but also a double Champion!
