The Wyatt Family set to reunite

Wyatt family

The Wyatt Family, were a professional wrestling stable – which had formed on WWE’s NXT. In the recent times, they are considered to be one of the most villainous factions on WWE. It had began with three members originally – Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. But throughout their run – several other stars like Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton had also been a part of the faction.

Forming on NXT, the dominance of the stable had begun when Harper and Rowan went on to win the NXT Tag Team Championship. They soon moved to the main roster and attacked the top guys like John Cena, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan among others. In 2015, Braun Strowman had joined the stable too.

Surprisingly, none of the 4 constant members of The Wyatt Family is with WWE anymore. The leader of the pack, Bray Wyatt was released from the company in 2021. So was Braun Strowman. Luke Harper had moved to All Elite Wrestling, before his untimely demise in 2020. Erick Rowan too was a part of the company till 2020.

Two of the Superstars from the Wyatt family are all set to reunite, but not inside the WWE ring. Braun Strowman will be teaming up with Erick Rowan to face nZo and Bully Ray at Northeast Wrestling’s WrestleFest XXVI event. In fact, Strowman too took to Twitter to announce the family reunion.

“We’re here!!!! #Family” – tweeted Braun Strowman.

In 2020, Luke Harper (real name Jonathan Huber) passed away due to a lung issue. While he had gone to AEW, several WWE stars, and even the company gave a tribute to him. Bray Wyatt had called him his “best friend, brother and partner”, while Braun Strowman mentioned that he was, “one of the most unselfish men I’ve ever met and an amazing husband and father.”

Erick Rowan mentioned that Harper “meant more to me than he will ever know.” Words like these showed that The Wyatt Family was not only an onscreen stable, but a group of wrestlers who were as close as a family.
