WWE Tribute to the Troops: WWE Champion Big E secures big win

WWE Tribute to the Troops is considered to be the most patriotic night on the WWE calendar. It is an annual event of professional wrestling, held by WWE and Armed Forces Entertainment. The show intends to honor and entertain the United States Armed Forces members. This year, the event featured 3 matches.
The night opened with WWE Champion Big in action. He faced one-half of the former WWE Tag Team Champions – Dolph Ziggler. As soon as the match began, the New Day member connected several belly-to-belly suplexes, but the Show-Off refused to give up. He went out of the ring, and connected a Farmouser and connected a near fall.
At the same time, the odds were stacked against Big E at , as Ziggler was accompanied by his tag team partner Robert Roode. While Roode distracted the referee, Ziggler tried to rake the eyes of the WWE Champion. But Big E outsmarted him and connected a Big Ending for the win at WWE Tribute to the Troops.
Robert Roode attacked Big E after the match. Ziggler and Roode double teamed on the WWE Champion, but he was able to fight them off without much struggle. Such dominance from Big E gives him enough momentum heading into the WWE Survivor Series 2021.

WWE is now gearing for their final of the “Big Four” events of the year – Survivor Series 2021. The event is known for their brand supremacy battles. Men’s and Women’s Teams from both the main roster brands collide in a 5-on-5 Elimination Tag Team match.
Champions from both the brands also battle against each other. This year, WWE Champion Big E will be colliding against Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The feud between the two Superstars has already kicked off on Smackdown, with The Bloodline attacking The New Day. Both the Champions have gained enough momentum at WWE Tribute to the Troops, and will deliver a brutal bout at Survivor Series.
