This year’s WrestleMania was quite special for The Rock. He wrestled in his first match at the Show of Shows after eight long years. As a result, The Great One was caught sharing an emotional moment with his daughter and NXT GM, Ava Raine, following his victory.

Recently, WWE shared behind-the-scenes photos of the superstars during the WrestleMania XL weekend. Among them, one was of The Rock hugging his daughter Ava Raine backstage. It was great to see the father and daughter bonding, given how much criticism they faced during the buildup to the Showcase of Immortals.

Rocky’s return was truly inspirational for WWE, as he played an important role in making professional wrestling “cool” again. Initially, the plan was for him to fight his cousin Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL, but after the negative response from fans, he turned heel and aligned himself with The Bloodline. In his Hollywood Rock persona, he broke all barriers and delivered some of the most entertaining segments of the modern era.

On Night 1 of WrestleMania XL, he and Reigns battled in a tag team match against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes, which they ended up winning. However, The Tribal Chief lost his title while Rocky gave a warning to Rhodes by claiming that their story was not over yet. Therefore, it will be interesting to see when The Rock returns to WWE again.
