WATCH: Becky Lynch and Randy Orton argue after Raw goes off air
Orton and Lynch
Becky Lynch is one of the biggest name in the professional wrestling industry. Currently holding the Raw Women’s Championship, she had made her return to the company after a maternity break at Summerslam 2021. While her return was a massive surprise for the fans, WWE added to the shock value by deciding to turn Big Time Becks heel.
Predictably, the fans were completely against booing Lynch and continued to cheer for her, even when she was playing a negative character on-screen. Since then, the company has been trying their best to get the WWE Universe boo her, but so far they haven’t garnered much success. If she wants to become a popular heel, Lynch could get some tips from her colleague, who happens to be one of the biggest Heels in the business – Randy Orton.
Orton has been with the company for over two decades now and for a major part of his career he has been a Heel. Throughout his run as a heel, Orton has adopted several gimmicks like The Viper and the Legend Killer. Irrespective of the gimmick, the fans have absolutely backed his negative character.
Currently, Orton has turned Face since forming a Tag Team with Riddle, known as RK-Bro. While fans are loving this avatar too, but they obviously mean his greyer side. After the latest episode of Raw went off-air, Randy Orton and Becky Lynch were seen having an argument. The episode closed with Orton delivering an RKO to Kevin Owens.
As Orton was walking back to the locker room, the Raw Women’s Champion was making her way to the ring – seemingly for a dark match. But surprisingly, as she came out she was seen arguing with the Viper. But Orton just put his hands up and was seen backing off, avoiding any confrontation. The video of the same was shared by an attendee.
Becky Lynch scheduled for a big match at Elimination Chamber
Becky Lynch had successfully defended the Raw Women’s Championship at Royal Rumble against Doudrop. Post this, she was expecting that the Royal Rumble winner Ronda Rousey would pick her as the Wrestlemania opponent and kick off the Road to Wrestlemania. But that wasn’t the case!
Rousey has chosen to go after Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Champion. While there is still no clarity on Becky Lynch’s Wrestlemania opponent, but she has another opponent to take care of at Elimination Chamber, later this month. She will be putting the title on the line against Hall of Famer Lita.
