Roman Reigns has been on a dominant run since his return to WWE at Summerslam 2020. Turning heel turned out to be a landmark point in his career. If that wasn’t enough, Reigns even associated himself with one of the most creative mind in the business, Paul Heyman. Since their association began, Reigns has been the Universal Champion for over 500 days.
Throughout his reign as the Universal Champion, the Tribal Chief has defended his title against the likes of John Cena, Edge and Daniel Bryan, among others. But his biggest rival arrived at Summerslam 2021 – in the form of the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar. The two Superstars were initially planned to have a 3-match feud which would conclude at Wrestlemania 38.
Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar collided for the first time at Crown Jewel, where the Tribal Chief emerged victorious after interferences from Paul Heyman and The Usos. Their second bout in this feud couldn’t take place after Reigns tested positive for Covid, hours before the Day 1 event. Now they are all set to collide in the main event of Wrestlemania Sunday.
The buildup to this battle has been quite intense. It is being advertised as the greatest Wrestlemania main event of all time. With not one, but two of the top Championships of the company on the line, the stakes are the highest. WWE recently released a video which shows the Universal Champion Roman Reigns training hard for the bout. You can checkout the whole video above.

This is going to be my sixth WrestleMania main event, and this is going to be the one where I beat Brock Lesnar and solidify my run as the greatest WWE Champion of all time. There is no argument, there is no debate, it is factual. It is title vs title. This is the biggest WrestleMania main event of all time. I am ready. Let’s go!” – mentioned Reigns.
Brock Lesnar is after Roman Reigns’ blood
The WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is all set to collide against the Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the Wrestlemania Sunday main event. But the Tribal Chief and his Special Counsel tried hard to ensure that Lesnar cannot make it to the match. Reigns brutally attacked Lesnar during a live event at the Madison Square Garden – leaving him to bleed profusely.
This assault, clearly awakened the Beast. Lesnar announced on a recent episode of Smackdown, that he is no longer after the title. He is after the Universal Champion’s blood – because “You don’t draw first blood on Brock Lesnar”. The WWE Champion recently rammed a forklift truck into Reigns’ car too!
