One of her most iconic angles on WWE was with Matt and Jeff Hardy, where they were known as Team Xtreme. Another iconic angle was her run as a manager to the Rated-R Superstar Edge. But she wasn’t just an on-screen manager but is also a four time Women’s Champion!

But her most iconic storyline also became the reason for her departure from the company. In 2005-06, she appeared in a highly controversial segment with the Rated-R Superstar which was advertised as “live s*x celebration”. Reportedly, the WWE Hall of Famer was uncomfortable with the segment but WWE had threatened to fire her id she backed out. Hence, she had no other option but to go ahead with the segment.

But this segment led to Lita receiving constant negative feedback from the fans. This had such massive impact on her career and life, that she decided to leave the company. Post this she moved back to the independent wrestling scene. Since her departure, the WWE Hall of Famer has returned for several sporadic appearances.
