John Cena recently made an appearance on the December 30th SmackDown edition. Apart from him wrestling a rare tag-team match, fans were bewildered by the amount of hair density he possessed. One of the camera angles that caught the back of his head revealed a bald spot. Let’s break down what kind of hair loss it is and whether the Franchise Player underwent any remedy to cure it.
A YouTuber named MATTDOMINANCE, who specializes in hair transplant videos, unveiled the science behind John Cena’s hair loss. At first, he looked at the 2015 version of Cena’s head, which was quite simple and usual. That time, the WWE legend had shaved sides and a flat top. The hairline looked like a Norwood one without any signs of androgenic alopecia.
Moving further, one of John Cena’s looks in the formal witnessed a sudden change in the hairline. That was termed a non-typical whirl or cowlick type of hairline. That being said, in this the center of the hairline seems as if it’s receding. In an episode of the Tonight’s Show back in 2017, Cena was caught deadlifting Jimmy Fallon, which also highlighted Cena’s clearly receding crown from that shot.
Despite all of this, the aforementioned YouTuber still does not believe that the Cenation Leader had a hair transplant. It’s just a matter of gradual hair thinning. However, that doesn’t mean that John Cena hasn’t been on finasteride since 2016. After ruling out the possibility of a hair transplant, the YouTuber came to the conclusion that it’s only finasteride that’s helping him out. The drug assists in slowing down the diffused hair loss, and it comes down to this now: John Cena is very likely to have androgenic alopecia. However, to those wondering, he doesn’t wear a wig at all.
John Cena is expected to compete at WrestleMania 39
The Franchise Player graced everyone’s screens when he made his WWE return on SmackDown. He ended up on the winning side after Kevin Owens pinned Sami Zayn, following a stunner, leaving Roman Reigns down. Although the night’s main attraction didn’t receive much ring time, fans went crazy as soon as he got a tag. But now, the real question is: what does the future hold for the WWE legend?
As of writing according to some recent reports, WWE is planning a first-time-ever match between John Cena and Logan Paul at WrestleMania 39. The company’s higher-ups consider this a huge mainstream draw. It’s not clear at the moment how the storyline will kick off between them. Nevertheless, it’s more than likely that Cena will finally end the 2-year drought of not competing at WrestleMania this year.
Fightful Select also provided an update on the scrapped plans for WrestleMania involving the 16-time Champ. Per them, under the previous regime, a highly anticipated dream match between John Cena and Cody Rhodes was pitched. However, as soon as Vince McMahon retired and Triple H assumed control, all previous roadmaps were dumped.
