The Undertaker has always been the highlight of the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All.’ His WrestleMania streak holds a special place in the WWE’s golden book. Starting with WrestleMania VII, The DeadMan had an undefeated streak of 21 wins in WrestleMania alone. While many superstars don’t even make 21 appearances, the Undertaker has 25 WrestleMania victories.
WrestleMania 34 was a memorable event for both The Deadman and the WWE Universe. The buildup to his match against John Cena created a lot of excitement in the crowd. The WWE Universe expected the match would be a perfect showcase of two wrestling legends going back and forth. But it turned out to be a three-minute squash match. The fans still wonder what led to John Cena vs. The Undertaker’s WrestleMania 34 match being cut so short.
The Deadman has revealed the reason for this in his documentary – ‘The Last Ride.’ Taker’s last WrestleMania match against Roman Reigns was a failure in his own eyes. While almost everyone took it as his last match, he didn’t want to end his WWE journey with such a match. He trained himself hard, returned in 2018, and accepted John Cena’s challenge at the event.
Despite him training himself for a massive match, the WWE management wasn’t down with this idea. Everyone took his health into consideration and thus planned for a short encounter between Cena and Taker. The Deadman hardly took any bumps and dominated the entire match. It was redemption for his poor performance against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33 last year.

The Undertaker was utterly disappointed by his match against Roman Reigns
‘The Last Ride’ took the audience on a multi-emotional wave of events. The Deadman has dedicated his entire life to the world of pro wrestling, and it is very evident that he has lived all the moments in the ring to their extreme point. Being one of the greatest professionals in the ring, he has his own judgment for everything under the hammer.
The Undertaker went to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 and apologized for his performance during his match against Reigns. He admitted that the match still bothered him.
