While most of the conversations in the NBA are about LeBron James‘ move to the Philadelphia 76ers, another story being discussed is how he might not have been playing for them had the Golden State Warriors gotten their hands on Jaylen Brown.
It is no secret that the Celtics trading their superstar guard to the Sixers drew the King’s interest to that franchise. Before that trade, the Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers were known to be frontrunners in the race to sign the veteran.
That means he wasn’t even looking at the 76ers and was hoping the Warriors would trade for Anthony Davis, which was one of his requirements. Since that did not happen, James decided not to team up with longtime rival Stephen Curry and close friend Draymond Green.
But the real question is: if Brown had been traded to the Bay Area-based team instead of the Sixers, would James have felt it was a good enough spot to help him win more titles?
No one will know the answer, as Philly fans are going to enjoy the fruit of the trade breakdown between the Warriors and the Boston Celtics. In fact, Brown decided to let his detractors know what is on his mind.
What was lost will be recovered.

In the past several weeks, Jaylen Brown has faced criticism after some members of the media used unknown sources to paint his character in a negative light. But this time, it is about something else.
Warriors apparently did not see Jaylen Brown as a worthy successor to Stephen Curry
Jaylen Brown has been asking members of the media to ‘state their source’ whenever they make claims using anonymous people. But this time, it was a direct opinion that drew that response.
Should they have gotten in on the Jaylen Brown sweepstakes? The Warriors had an opportunity to trade for the former Celtic before the deadline in February, but couldn’t build an organizational consensus that Brown would be the right player to carry the Warriors beyond the Curry era.

If this is true, it means that the Warriors did not think highly enough of the five-time All-Star to part with four first-round picks the Celtics were asking for. Since that trade was actually on the cards but was declined, there is no refuting the story.

His reaction to this opinion did not repeat what happened when he asked for the author’s sources. It could be that he is growing tired of the narratives and is waiting for his performance on the court to prove all of his doubters wrong.
Jaylen Brown joins LeBron James to manifest positivity
The negativity surrounding Jaylen Brown has reached the point where the 29-year-old is trying his best to stay positive. When LeBron James posted a story about manifesting positivity, the California Golden Bear reposted it.

It was Brown’s way of saying that he understands everything around him is negative. But he is trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel and is projecting it into his consciousness now.

The idea is that keeping that positivity in his mind now will enable him to perform in a manner that turns these negativities into positives. The 6’6″ shooting guard/small forward knows that his newest teammate has faced this throughout his career, which is probably why he is taking in and replicating whatever James is doing.
