Max Verstappen has always been vocal about his commitment to Formula 1. The three-time World Champion has spoken multiple times about his possible departure from the sport due to the long seasonal calendars, exercise marketing events, etc.
Recently, Max Verstappen‘s former fitness coach, Brad Scanes, was speaking to Sky Sports about the Dutchman’s time in the sport. Scanes added how Verstappen will not be in the sport as long as rivals Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso because of his interest in other aspects, racing categories.
Verstappen has been racing in F1 since 2015.
As far as longevity in the sport, you know he is probably not gonna stick around as long as Alonso or Hamilton. The pressure on drivers drivers to do events, meet and gretts and this filming stuff is, is getting more and more and you know. Add in the amount of races that we’re doing. We will start to see a sort of burnout and things like that. Its a lot of time commitments and a lot of efforts to do those things.

The Briton later added how all the media aspects of F1 are something the 26-year-old despises, which will probably be the main reason for his departure. However, the fans of the Dutchman shouldn’t be worried, after F1, Verstappen will most probably be seen competing in other racing categories.
