In a sight that no one saw coming, Brock Lesnar shockingly made his presence felt on this week’s Raw. He ambushed Oba Femi in the ring and then pulverized ‘The Ruler’ with four devastating F-5s. The crowd went bonkers for Lesnar jumping Femi just as he was gearing up for his next challenge.

Femi had been running roughshod through the roster for the past couple of weeks. He was striving for some real competition after destroying minnows like Otis, Angel, and Berto of late. ‘The Bringer of War’ doesn’t have to look any further, as he’s now in the crosshairs of the former UFC Heavyweight Champion.

Moments after Lesnar laid waste to Femi out there, Raw GM Adam Pearce was scrambling for some answers, and he wanted to see Paul Heyman in his office. Pearce found Heyman exactly there and informed ‘The Wiseman’ that he had filed retirement paperwork on Lesnar’s behalf. After going back and forth, Heyman handed over a contract to Pearce with his client’s signature on it.

‘The Oracle’ revealed that the contract was for Clash in Italy, and Pearce just needed to get Oba Femi to sign it for the biggest rematch in history to happen. That being said, it’s almost guaranteed that Lesnar and Femi will lock horns in a blockbuster rematch from WrestleMania 42 next Sunday in Turin.

The fans should expect Femi to sign on the dotted line next week on Raw after the humiliation he suffered at the hands of Brock Lesnar this Monday night. As mentioned in the beginning, no one could’ve predicted it to happen. Especially after ‘The Conqueror’ apparently retired at WrestleMania by leaving his gloves and boots in the middle of that ring.

Heyman was bawling his eyes out, and the two of them shared a warm embrace to affirm that it was indeed a shoot as opposed to a worked angle. However, in hindsight, it was a ruse. Michael Cole mentioned on commentary that the rumors of Lesnar’s wrestling demise had been greatly exaggerated.

That might be the best way to put it. WWE had even moved the MMA icon to the alumni section of its superstars a few days ago, but PWInsider reported that the 48-year-old was still listed as an active performer internally. It has been proven accurate with ‘The One in 21-1’ back in the hunt once again.

Brock Lesnar seems to be back in WWE for good

With his thunderous return on this week’s Raw, it appears like Brock Lesnar is going to stick around for a while and will most likely continue wrestling after Clash in Italy as well. One could feel that the 10-time world champion had been chomping at the bit to settle the score with Oba Femi ever since getting trounced by the Nigerian wrestler on the grandest stage.

Should Lesnar beat Femi this time around, they’d get even, which may open the door for a decider. And while it could be staged at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, saving the trilogy-closing chapter of Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar for SummerSlam would be a better play.

The Biggest Party of the Summer will be held in Lesnar’s adopted hometown of Minneapolis this year. WWE would definitely want to cash in on such an opportunity and make the most out of it given that Lesnar is supposedly working SummerSlam at this point.

There’s always a possibility of ‘The Beast Incarnate’ delaying his actual in-ring retirement until next year’s WrestleMania in Riyadh. It’s known that the local authorities have been constantly pushing for the biggest attractions to be a part of their show, with The Rock being offered the biggest wrestling payday to work the event.

Hence, it’s safe to assume that the Saudi Arabian officials would leave no stone unturned in securing Brock Lesnar for a WrestleMania in their backyard. However, since it’s Lesnar, he’s known to operate on his own terms. It might totally come down to him as to if he wants to gracefully bow out in front of his own people in Minnesota at SummerSlam or delay the inevitable until the spring of 2027.
