LA Knight finally returned to having an in-ring promo on this week’s Raw. Declaring that he was done with The Vision, for which he also credited The Usos, Knight then confirmed his participation in this year’s King of the Ring tournament starting next week. Since he was ultimately aiming to take the world heavyweight title off Roman Reigns, Knight started to wonder where that leaves the Usos.

As for Reigns, Knight deemed him the most corrupt champion he’d ever seen who’s trying to stir up the old Bloodline again with the help of The Usos. That brought Jimmy Uso out, who understood where Knight was coming from and why he was hot about the Usos getting back on the same page with Reigns. Jimmy, however, affirmed that the Bloodline wasn’t how it used to be anymore.

‘Big Jim’ asked Knight to go do his thing and win that King of the Ring crown. The older of the Usos assured the former Eli Drake that he’ll have a fair shot at ‘The OTC’ and the World Heavyweight Championship this time around. Knight was finding it hard to believe as he saw ‘Big Jim’ as just a third fiddle to ‘The Tribal Chief’.

He really didn’t want Jimmy getting relegated to being Reigns’ errand boy again. That didn’t sit well with Jimmy Uso, and he asserted how things would’ve been horrible for LA Knight if Jey Uso were out there too. ‘The Defiant One’ knew it would’ve led to The Usos laying him out along with Reigns in a 3-on-1 beatdown, just like they did to Jacob Fatu last week.

Uso called Fatu’s problem family business and warned Knight that their family will become The Megastar’s problem if he keeps disrespecting ‘The OTC’. ‘Big Jim’ was done talking and turned back to leave but got pulled back by Knight. The latter said he liked him and didn’t have that big of a problem with Jey either.

However, he couldn’t stand Roman Reigns at all. Knight affirmed that Reigns could never get the job done on his own and always needed someone by his side like Paul Heyman and The Usos. Knight knew Jimmy didn’t want this to go there, but if the Bloodline’s business became his business, he’d make sure to put an end to it. LA Knight asked Jimmy Uso to deliver his message to Reigns before exiting the ring.

Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu signed the contract for Clash in Italy on Raw

The main event of this week’s Raw featured a contract signing for the World Heavyweight Championship match between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu at Clash in Italy. ‘The OTC’, who, by the way, turned 41 on Monday, signed the contract after Fatu put pen to paper.

By doing so, he made a blood oath to not put his hands on Reigns until this Sunday in Turin. ‘The Head of the Table’ asked the crowd to acknowledge him and showed Fatu how simple it could’ve been for him as well. ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ said he’s not like everyone else. He did give it to Reigns for elevating the entire household, but he could only take it so far, and now it needed a change.

Fatu reminded Reigns how he twisted the rules in order to beat him at Backlash, the ending of which saw ‘The OTC’ exposing a turnbuckle and using it to his advantage. ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ wasn’t mad about Roman Reigns doing that, as he had to do so for winning the battle he was fighting. Fatu, however, reminded the 7-time world champion that they’re in for ‘Tribal Combat’ this weekend. It means there are basically no rules and anything could go on.

Fatu promised consequences after putting an end to ‘The Tribal Chief’, who fixated on talking about the actual consequences. Reigns told Fatu that he’d have to serve him if he lost in Italy, which appeared to Jacob like a win-win situation as he’d still have a job in WWE. However, Fatu would make Reigns acknowledge him if the latter lost. After that, both men clasped their hands and touched foreheads to end the show.
