“I’m Disgusted” – De’Aaron Fox Gets Torched By NFL Stars For Fumbling Game 4 Against Knicks Despite Hefty First Half Lead
Spurs De'Aaron Fox failed to convert a layup and turned the ball over to the Knicks and they won the game four 107-106.

Micah Parsons is finding it hard to comprehend the mistake De’Aaron Fox made that eventually cost the San Antonio Spurs game four against the New York Knicks. The Spurs lost by a solitary point.
With the clock striking the final ten-second mark inside Madison Square Garden, Fox stole the ball after Jalen Brunson failed to convert. However, Fox allowed Knicks OG Anunoby to tackle him right before he could score himself. The score remained Spurs 106-105 Knicks.
In the following play, Brunson hit the rim on a three-point try. In the rebound, Anunoby smashed the ball inside the basket to give the Knicks a slender lead with just 1.2 seconds left. The Knicks won 107-106 and went 3-1 in the seven-game series for the NBA Championship.
All De’Aaron Fox had to do was run the clock out 😭

Green Bay Packers pass rusher Micah Parsons called out Fox for squandering the great chance to score.
Fox going up with that shot is like ending the game with a pick and fumbling it!! Like wow!! I’m disgusted rn!

Former NFL tight end and Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe had harsh words for Fox.
WTF was Fox thinking? Just run the clock out or make them foul you. He’s played some DUMB [basketball] LAST 20mins.

De’Aaron Fox sheds light on the final layup
To be fair, only criticizing Fox paints a very narrow picture. The Spurs as a whole blew a 25+ lead. Midway through the third quarter, the Spurs looked like they would make it 2-2 in the series, but bad plays and lousy turnovers shifted the momentum in the Knicks’ favor.

A lot of fans are comparing the Spurs’ collapse with the famous comeback by the New England Patriots after trailing 28-3 against the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI.
Which team had the biggest choke of all time?

Fox is a two-time NBA All-Star but has never been part of a championship-winning team. After Wednesday’s game, reporters flocked to his locker and asked why he tried to score rather than running the clock down.
I just thought I’d be able to outrun [Knicks’ OG Anunoby]. That’s it.

The Knicks require one more win to secure their first championship since 1973. The Spurs have to win the next two to tie. The last team to win from a 3-1 deficit was the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016 when they came back to defeat the Golden State Warriors.
Micah Parsons gives an update on his ACL recovery
The Packers’ star pass rusher tore his ACL while facing the Denver Broncos on Dec. 14, with surgery following on Dec. 29. The reality of the matter is that it’s not just his ACL that is hurt, but he’s been working on his meniscus as well.
The Packers haven’t set a timeline for his recovery just yet. But Parsons aims to play in year two at Green Bay.
The goal for me is to complete the season — not no relapse — and playoffs, and pushing towards a championship. [The] goal isn’t for me to go out there and re-injure myself trying to force myself to get back the first few games. The goal has always been [to be available for the] playoffs, and I think we’re all on the same page.
Micah Parsons said. (H/T ESPN)
Parsons is staying in touch with Packers head coach Matt LaFleur and general manager Brian Gutekunst. These two gave up a fortune to bring the All-Pro edge to Wisconsin. During his first year, Parsons registered 41 tackles, 12.5 sacks, and 12 TFLs in 14 games. The Packers lost the final three games without him and ended the year with a 9-7-1. In the Wild Card round, they lost 31-27 against the Chicago Bears.
