The Philadelphia Eagles fans travel well. In Week 2, the Eagles take on the Tennessee Titans in Nashville. A bunch of Eagles fans boarded a plane bound for Music City to cheer for the NFC side.
According to John Clark of NBCS, American Airlines offered $3500 to Eagles fans for the trip to Nashville. The pilot even sent a parting gift once the plane landed.
“The pilot played Fly Eagles Fly after landing. Lotta green at Nissan Stadium tomorrow,” Clark captioned a video of a plane packed with Eagles fans.
It’s safe to assume the Eagles will be well supported inside Nissan Stadium on Sunday.

The Eagles opened their 2026 campaign with a hard-fought victory over rivals the Washington Commanders. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts looked slightly rough in the first half, throwing several loose passes. Yet, he threw two touchdown passes to tight end Dallas Goedert and summer addition wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks.
Washington QB Jayden Daniels, who started his first game since breaking his elbow last year, set up running back Jacory Croskey Merritt for a touchdown right before halftime. After a bland third quarter with a single field goal, the pace picked up once more in the final 15 minutes. Daniels connected with veteran Stefon Diggs inside the Eagles’ end zone. He was shown a penalty flag for unsportsmanlike conduct for ramming into the goalpost as part of his extended TD celebration.
A little over three minutes later, the Hurts and Goedert duo added a second touchdown, but Daniels closed the gap when he found rookie Antonio Williams north of the Eagles’ goal line. Philly hung on to secure a 24-2 victory.
Hurts finished with 14 completions from 25 for 203 yards and 3 touchdowns. Running back Saquon Barkley had 15 carries for 83 yards. Goedert scored 2 touchdowns on 4 receptions.
Daniels went 18 of 34 for 2 touchdowns to go with 5 carries for 31 yards. Williams and Diggs had 8 combined catches for over 110 yards and 2 TDs.
According to Eagles Director of Communications John Gonoude and Elias Sports, Jalen Hurts is only the third NFL quarterback since 1950 to win each of their first six career starts in season openers. The other two are Hall of Famers Roger Staubach and Johnny Unitas.

The Eagles hold an advantage over the Titans
On paper, the Eagles are the better team compared to the Titans, by a country mile. Tennessee hasn’t enjoyed playoff success since exiting the divisional round in 2021. In the meantime, the Eagles have been to the Super Bowl twice and won a championship in 2024.

The Eagles hold an 8-5 overall record against the Titans. The Eagles also go into Sunday’s game with overwhelming odds to secure a ninth win in this tie.
Hurts has only ever faced the Titans once in his career. Back in Week 13 of the 2022 season, the Eagles defeated the Titans 35-10 at Lincoln Financial Field. Hurts had 29 completions for 380 yards and 4 total touchdowns.
The Eagles are likely to start without S Andrew Mukuba, who is dealing with a knee injury. Edge Jonathan Greenard has been ruled out with a pectoral injury.
