Hailee Steinfeld enjoyed her husband, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, slicing through the Los Angeles Rams’ defense on one of his iconic runs. Pro lip readers deciphered what Steinfeld yelled when the camera was pointed at her.

The Bills and the Rams were tied with under two minutes left. Allen took off from 2nd & 17, maneuvering through several Rams defenders before a bunch brought him down inside the five-yard line.

Cameras pointed to the VIP suite where actor and mother of Allen’s child, Hailee Steinfeld, watched it happen. A clip of the moment went viral. It’s unclear what she’s saying in the video until expert lip readers stepped in to deduce it.

The Rams boasted the third-best defense despite losing a couple of games prior to the Monday Night kickoff. Sean McVay’s team ranked 12th in rushing yards allowed (102.2) and conceded just one touchdown. The Bills recorded 234 yards (150 yards more than the Rams). Allen rushed for 121 yards and one touchdown, while running back James Cook scored two touchdowns on 25 carries.

Allen is a two-time All-Pro, four-time Pro Bowler, and the 2024 MVP. He’s considered one of the greatest quarterbacks of the current generation. However, the 30-year-old admitted that he’s not the most famous person in his family. That honor belongs to his wife, Hailee Steinfeld.

Anyplace else in the world but here and it’s absolutely her. It was obvious when we went to Paris a few years ago. Nobody there knows football very well, but they know movie stars and they know pop stars, and my wife just happens to be both.

Josh Allen told ESPN in September

The Academy Award winner for her roles in True Grit and The Sinners, Steinfeld has established herself as a Hollywood A-lister. She also received praise for portraying multiple roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (voiced Spider-Gwen and played Kate Bishop in the live-action Hawkeye series)

Steinfeld gave birth to their daughter in April 2026. According to People, the young parents named her Harper. Allen said his family is his top priority.

My wife and daughter are my No. 1 priority. If they’re OK, I’m OK. It doesn’t matter what else is going on in my life, and that frees me up, 100%, to be the best teammate I can be. I just come out here and play football and have fun.
