Days after Tom Brady slapped Logan Paul at the Fanatics Fest, Logan’s brother, Jake Paul, shared his desire to play in the NFL. According to Jake, he has spoken with a few NFL teams regarding his future in the sport.

Speaking with Front Office Sports at entrepreneur Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Fest, Jake Paul indicated that the NFL requires an athlete of his caliber and prestige to save it from “mediocrity.”

I think there’s a lot of super mediocrity in the NFL. A lot of not-good athletes. A lot of people dropping passes on a consistent basis. I have better hands than them, I’m faster than them, I’m stronger than them, I work harder than them.

Jake Paul announced

Jake Paul came to prominence in the 2010s through his Vine and YouTube videos. He briefly switched over to action before making his debut as a boxer in 2020. According to multiple sources, Paul, 29, has a 12-2-0 record.

Paul has supported the Cleveland Browns for a long time. He claimed that it would be easy to make the Browns’ roster.

I do have NFL aspirations after boxing. I want to play slot receiver, and so I think to get that experience, in college first would be good so I could walk onto the Stanford team.

Jake Paul said

Well, the new NCAA eligibility criteria might cause problems for Paul. According to the new five-point rule, freshmen don’t need to redshirt. They can start at age 19 (or when they join a school) and stay part of the college scene for the next five years. Paul doesn’t have the liberty.

It won’t be easy for him to get onto the Browns roster either. There are several veterans on the team like Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman. The Browns also boast exciting youngsters like Isaiah Bond and rookies KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, as well as tight end Harold Fannin Jr.

Jake Paul reacted to Tom Brady slapping his brother Logan Paul

Despite their past differences, Rubin had the great idea of inviting Brady and Logan Paul on the stage at the same time. The situation escalated after both started exchanging heated words.

Brady, known for his cool persona outside of football, did the unthinkable. He slapped Logan Paul. If NBA champion Karl-Anthony Towns hadn’t stepped in to defuse the tension, then the situation could have worsened. After the altercation went viral, a furious Jake Paul gave his honest take on the matter.

I wish I was there to back [Logan] up. But I have one message for Tom. The Paul brothers are coming for you and revenge is sweet. Tom, keep your head on a swivel.

Jake Paul told FOX News Digital

The feud between Brady and Logan Paul continued during the FIFA World Cup final at New Jersey Stadium. A video clip showed Brady flashing the middle finger at Paul while sitting next to his son Benjamin in the Bleachers.

The feud between Brady and the Paul brothers kicked off in March when the seven-time Super Bowl champion went to the “Impaulsive” podcast. Logan claimed that he could match a football player’s athleticism. Brady quickly corrected him, but the feud raged on in the following weeks.

Paul announced that he could defeat any football player, including someone like Myles Garrett, inside a wrestling ring, generating immense buzz on social media. His challenge was accepted by former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell. After a back-and-forth on X, Paul agreed to fight Bell. However, Paul later backed out of the fight because the WWE forbade him, citing his value to the organization.

Paul participated in Brady’s Flag Football tournament. They were slotted on different teams. During their game, Brady smashed a football in Paul’s back.

The feud has continued ever since. Some have called Brady’s actions “fake” or a “stunt” to attract the WWE’s attention because he has aspirations of competing in WWE.
