Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua is currently one of the most talked about heavyweights fights. Fury recently challenged Joshua for a title fight and also sent the contract. AJ who verbally agreed to the fight didn’t sign the contract right away and Fury was struck

Fury gave Joshua an ultimatum that AJ has to sign the contract by Monday or else he will move on and try to find someone else to fight. Responding to this, Joshua recorded a video answering Fury’s allegations.

AJ said: “I’ve been signing contracts for years. It ain’t in my hands, it is with the legal team, that’s why you hire lawyers. You know the history of boxing, make sure you get your legal terms right.”

However, AJ did confirm that he will sign the contract but only after his legal team’s advice.

“That’s why you have good management and good lawyers. Of course, I’m going to sign the contract, it’s just with some lawyers at the minute” added Joshua.

Nevertheless, the Britisher has not guaranteed if he will sign the contract before the Gypsy king’s deadline. It will be interesting to see how Fury reacts if AJ doesn’t sign it before Monday.

Soon after the video was posted on the internet, it went viral. Mixed reactions came from the Netizens regarding AJ’s response.

One user wrote: “don’t lose your pen” mocking AJ’s unpunctual attitude towards the contract signing.

Another user wrote: “Fair play if he signs it on Monday, he’ll have earned a little bit of respect back after quitting 3/5 times in the past 2 years:”

Anthony Joshua is currently not in a great space as he hasn’t won a fight since 2020. Losing twice against Oleksandr Usyk is certainly a setback. He needs to come back stronger against Tyson Fury’s fight or else this might be the end of his career in terms of high-profile fights.
