“Finally a UFC fighter beats a boxer” – Twitter goes wild as 94 pounds-heavier Greg Hardy beats Jake Paul’s former rival in boxing match

Greg Hardy and Hasim Rahman Jr in their fight
Former UFC fighter Greg Hardy successfully beat professional boxer, Hasim Rahman Jr. earlier today at the MF X DAZN boxing event. Hardy weighed in nearly 100 pounds overweight than his opponent and the fight still went to distance.
Fighting an opponent of a different weight class is one thing, but to fight someone who is nearly 100 pounds overweight, is a brave effort in itself. Hasim Rahman Jr, the former rival of Jake Paul truly won the fans over with his efforts in trying to beat the former NFL athlete, and UFC fighter, Greg Hardy at the Misfits X DAZN boxing event earlier today.
Fans were tuned in to see how the fight plays between two fighters of two weight classes apart in the boxing ring. Heading into this fight against Rahman, Hardy was 1-0 in his boxing career. The fighter weighing 320 lbs beat his opponent weighing 226 lbs via a unanimous decision to extend his record to 2-0. Rahman was at a massive disadvantage when it came to weight and height.
The fight saw some amazing moments where Hardy managed to secure a knockout against the professional boxer. Hasim Rahman Jr is no stranger to missing weight though. The fighter was recently scheduled to fight YouTube sensation Jake Paul but the matchup didn’t go through as Rahman couldn’t make the contractual weight.

Greg Hardy beats Hasim Rahman Jr after 4 rounds of war. Hasim showed nothing but heart while at a major disadvantage… champ in my eyes.

“A much smaller opponent than he’s used to” I’m not sure that’s actually true of Greg Hardy if you know what i mean

Stop making the 100 lbs weight difference as an excuse to discredit Greg Hardy. The pro boxer Hasim Rahman Jr weighs more than Deontay Wilder… and Wilder would knock both of em out on the same night.

Greg Hardy beat Rahman ass, never got tired, and had enough energy to do this at the end. pic.twitter.com/X1ZCWf3cib

Hardy’s last fight in the UFC was against Sergey Spivak. He lost via TKO and was cut from the roster. Hasim Rahman Jr was originally scheduled to fight UFC legend Vitor Belfort but had to settle for Hardy after Belfort pulled out of the fight.
