In Short
  • CM Punk defended his wife and coworker against a fan invading their personal space at the MGM Grand hotel.
  • The fan does not intend to sue Punk but is seeking a sincere apology for the incident.
  • WWE stars, including Drew McIntyre, have criticized fan behavior during WrestleMania weekend.

CM Punk made the headlines for standing up for his wife and a coworker against a fan shamelessly invading their private space by recording AJ Lee chatting and hugging Bayley in the public area of the MGM Grand hotel early Monday morning. The said fan followed Bayley and Lee into the entranceway of the hotel and kept his camera on until Bayley had to tell him to go away.

Punk, in the very next instant, slapped the phone out of his hand, and it went careening to the floor. TMZ egregiously termed it as Punk crashing out over his loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania just a few hours before that altercation. The outlet later received some additional footage of the fan invading the personal space of Punk’s wife and close friend Bayley.

The said outlet has now published the fan’s account of the incident where it says that the fan doesn’t want to lodge a lawsuit against the wrestler who slapped the phone out of his hand. However, the fan is demanding a sincere apology from Punk. WWE legend X-Pac, aka Sean Waltman, reacted to it by dropping expletives for the fan acting as if he were wronged for nothing.

Waltman revealed that he was physically harassed, had a camera shoved in his face, and was even stalked in his bathroom by people of the same kind as the aforementioned fan pertaining to the CM Punk incident. In the aftermath of it, PWInsider revealed, via a witness’s word of mouth, that Damian Priest had to escort a female WWE star from a similar group of fans right before the Punk incident.

Apart from CM Punk and Sean Waltman not putting up with the absurd fan behavior over the WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas, Drew McIntyre also called it out via his social media post.

Pretty much like his colleagues, McIntyre also experienced getting his family rushed by those so-called fans who kept their children awake till 2 in the morning to put them in front of the wrestlers in order get away with their uncultured behavior.

CM Punk greeted his foster mother after losing to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42

CM Punk delivered an all-time WrestleMania classic with Roman Reigns this past Sunday. These men gave their all and kept battering each other for over half an hour, and by the time they were done, the entire stadium was raving about what they had left in there.

‘The Second City Saint’ couldn’t get past a much more formidable ‘Tribal Chief’, who dispatched a grizzly-looking Punk to win his seventh world title in WWE. Reigns noted in his social media post that even though he still hated Punk for years of animosity, it doesn’t erase the fact that they made magic together inside that ring.

CM Punk was banged up and was seeking some emotional comfort following a taxing loss. For that, he turned to his foster mother at ringside. For the unversed, the ‘Voice of the Voiceless’ was adopted by his childhood friend Chez‘s mother at 15 when he was going through his turbulent teenage years. She gave Punk a warm hug and kissed his forehead to put a big smile on his face.

One could see the amount of pride in her eyes, and Punk couldn’t have asked for more. The latter also dapped up with his longtime friend and trainer Ace Steel, who was nestled beside Punk’s adopted mom.

CM Punk pulled up to Raw this week and affirmed that he’ll not be going on a vacation. He got confronted by Cody Rhodes as he was confused with how calm and motivated Punk was despite the stinging loss to Reigns.

The 47-year-old explained to Rhodes it was easy for him to get over it as opposed to Rhodes, who had to overcome a great friend and mentor in Randy Orton at WrestleMania. CM Punk explicitly teased going after the Undisputed WWE title next before exiting the ring. Rhodes responded by saying that he’s ready to go whenever Punk says so.
