Valentine’s week has started, and people from all around the world have started planning to celebrate February 14 with their loved ones. In fact, today is Rose Day, the beginning of Valentine week. Couples during Valentine’s Day are the happiest, but then, some are not fans of this day simply because they do not have a dating partner. Discussions relating to Valentine’s Day, along with memes, are already circulating on social media.

India cricketer Dinesh Karthik, who is now not in the reckoning for India’s matches in any format, has becoming a cricket pundit. He will soon join the commentary box for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, beginning February 9, at the Vidarbha Cricket Association in Nagpur. Before this, Karthik had done commentary for Sky Sports as well and earned rave reviews.

Ahead of the series, Karthik started a #AskDK Q & A session on his official Twitter handle. Along with many other questions, a user asked Karthik for his advice in finding a partner to celebrate Valentine’s Day. “Sir help me in celebrating valentine’s day with someone this year.

In response, Karthik shared a photo of a man looking and pointing at himself in the mirror. Check Karthik’s epic reaction below:

Meanwhile, Dinesh Karthik won’t be seen doing commentary for the first time. He has taken up this role during India’s tour to England in 2021 for the World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand.

Last year, the wicket-keeper batter became someone not to be missed in the shortest format. The Chennai-born garnered attention during the Indian Premier League (IPL) while playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He was phenomenal with the bat as a finisher, scoring 330 runs in 16 innings at 55 and a whopping strike rate of 183.33. He also remained unbeaten 10 times for his side.

His heroics earned him a recall to the Indian side, and he was even a part of the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia. However, he failed to live up to the expectations.

The 37-year-old played the first four matches for India but got dropped for the last league matches, as well as the semi-final against England. In the four innings, he scored just 14 runs.

Prior to his stint for the RCB in 2022, he last played for India during the ODI World Cup in 2019. He made his debut for India in September 2004 in an ODI match against England, while his T20I debut came in December 2006 against South Africa. In total, he has scored 686 runs in 60 T20Is at a strike rate of 142.61.
